Build Aid is a UK Registered Charity formed in February 2005 following the 2004 South East Asian tsunami.

We provide construction aid, free professional advice and construction management for rebuilding projects undertaken by community groups, NGOs and non-profit-making organisations. We now also fund our own projects, following a number of generous donations from both private and corporate supporters and extensive research into local needs.

Now approaching the end of our third successful year we are even more committed to providing both technical aid and funding for community projects around the world, particularly in Sri Lanka.

Our two main fund-raising events of 2007 have now been completed and we are pleased to announce that over £45,000 was pledged during Morris Furniture’s Skydive event in Spain. We have also been offered a six bedroom pre-fabricated house!
